Meet Impilo Child Protection and Adoption Services
We’re proudly partnered with Impilo Child Protection and Adoption Services, a dedicated child protection organisation that works tirelessly to ensure vulnerable, orphaned, and abandoned children are placed in safe, and loving environments as early as possible. Their work extends beyond the provision of temporary safe care – they offer intensive social work, child protection services, and accredited national and intercountry adoption support.
Operating in Gauteng, Impilo serves approximately 150 children at any given time, with the vast majority being under six years old. They also provide critical care and support to refugee and asylum-seeking children, who make up between 13% and 19% of those they assist annually. Through Impilo’s tireless and selfless work, approximately 95% of their children are placed in a family environment within the first 2 years, and because of careful screening and monitoring, 98% of these placements are successful.
